A House Is A Wonderful Home for Happy Homeowners at Fields at Aliante

"We consider ourselves the offical ASTORIA HOMES Cheerleaders," laughed Teresa Tokumon. "We truly love our home."

Tokumon, along with her son, Justin Bee, niece Kristine Wakida, and Wakida's husband Anthony Ciamp, are the proud new owners of a beautiful home at Fields at Aliante. After an introduction to ASTORIA HOMES President Tom McCormick through a mutual friend, Tokumon decided to learn more about the Las Vegas-based homebuilder.

"I started looking at ASTORIA HOMES' communities because of the referral, but I did my own research and was pleased with what I found," said Tokumon, a law office manager for Hurchison and Steffen. "I kept hearing and reading really good things about ASTORIA and the quality of their homes."

Located at Elkhorn Road, west of Aliante Parkway, Fields at Aliante offers four and five bedroom homes. Tokumon and her family chose Residence 765, a two-story model with 3,176 square feet of spacious living featuring five bedrooms, three baths, an owner's retreat, bonus room and 3-car garage. One of the main reasons the family selected Residence 765 was the big picture window that spans the kitchen, family and dining nook. The unobstructed view gives the homeowners a wonderful view of the neighboring park where they like to watch the soccer games during dinner.

As a very family-oriented bunch, the homeowners all agree that the connected family room, kitchen and dining nook is the favorite area of the house, as the layout is perfect for social gatherings and allows plenty of room for their four adorable dogs to have the run of the house. For Ciampa, a chef with the Executive Offices at Station Casinos, any new house they moved into had to have nothing less than a fantastic kitchen.

"The floor plan is brilliant and ASTORIA HOMES did an amazing job with the use of space," said Tokumon. "The home is open and inviting and flows really well from room to room."

ASTORIA HOMES' top-notch customer service was a huge plus for the family, as every single ASTORIA employee made them feel at ease with their highly professional and approachable manner, especially New Home Advisor Jocelyn Newton.

"We really like Jocelyn, she was always helpful and smiling," said Ciampa. "She made the whole process fun and her knowledge about the construction process was impressive."

"Jocelyn was wonderful," added Tokumon. "After we bought our home we came back a few times to take measurements and make plans. Even though she had to accommodate us each trip, she was very gracious, cooperative and patient."

While the family was aware of the benefits of owning an ENERGY STAR home, it wasn't until they moved to Fields that they were able to truly enjoy the benefits.

"To learn that ASTORIA HOMES is big on ENERGY STAR was a relief," said Ciampa. "Because we are all on different schedules, there is a constant use of energy. ENERGY STAR helps us save money."

The abundance of space that Residence 765 offers is much needed by the vibrant and active family, as Wakida and Ciampa are expecting their first child, Olivia, early next year.

Wakida added, "We always say this isn't a house, it's a home. We love it here, we love to be here, and we love to come home."
