ASTORIA OFFICE:

The Korte Co. is building a 52,280-square-foot office headquarters for Astoria Homes in the master-planned Summerlin community.

The concrete tilt-up structure has a painted sandstone veneer finish. In addition to the shell, Korte will do the design-build finish for Astoria's headquarters on the second floor.

Greg Korte, senior vice president of the construction firm, said the no-nonsense blend of design and function mirrors Astoria's approach in residential developments of "getting the most for their dollar."
