Peaks
Prepares for Grand
Opening
Model homes are under construction at Astoria Homes’ The Peaks community,
which features two neighborhoods: The Courtyards and The Verandas. The models
are expected to open in August.
A sales
office opened on
Saturday, July 19,
allowing home shoppers
to view the floorplans
and features.
The
development is situated
in Coronado Ranch,
east of Rainbow Boulevard
and Warm Springs
Road.
The
Astoria Homes team
is very enthusiastic
about the Peaks and
the fact that we
are once again fulfilling
a need in Las Vegas
by helping residents
become first-time
homeowner’s,” company
executive Sia Howe
said.
The
Courtyards offers
five designs, ranging
from 1,124 to 1,275
square feet with
two or three bedrooms.
One plan features
a loft.
The
Verandas’ five
designs measure from
1,432 to 1,653 square
feet with two to
four bedrooms. Select
plans include retreats
or lofts.
Homes
at both neighborhoods
also offer courtyards
and decks. In addition,
the homes are ENERGY
STAR-certified, making
them at least 30
percent more energy
efficient than a
standard home.
Plans
for The Peaks community
include two linear
parks, two pools,
a playground with
water features, a
basketball half-court,
covered picnic areas
and lawns.
Prices
start from the low
to mid-$100,000s.
