Astoria Homes
Announces Opening of the Information
Gallery at
its Newest Community of Independence
Independence Marks
Astoria’s Second ‘Triumph
Neighborhood’
(Las Vegas) – Sia
Howe, director of marketing for Astoria
Homes, announced today the grand opening
of Astoria’s newest community Independence
in the burgeoning southwest area of Las
Vegas.
Independence, the second community in Astoria’s Triumph neighborhood
series, opened its Information Gallery on Oct. 4th at its premier location
on Warm Springs Road, west of Durango.
With intimate courtyards, an almost endless list of quality features and prices
starting from the $120,000s, Independence is ideal for first-time homebuyers,
including young families and single parents. Astoria Homes will unveil its
five Independence models on Nov. 8.
“Independence will make the dream of home ownership come true for hundreds
of Southern Nevada residents,” Howe said.
As part of the “Triumph Neighborhoods” concept, Independence features
quality homes with all the amenities of other homes at a significantly lower
price point. Silverado Place, which opened earlier this year in the Silverado
Ranch area, was the first Triumph neighborhood.
“Our Triumph Neighborhoods concept allows individuals and families to purchase
entry-level homes in premium areas,” said Geoff Gorman, Astoria Homes vice
president of sales. “With Independence, homebuyers will be surprised to
find many features they would normally see only in homes priced much higher.”
Independence offers five floor plans that range from 1,246 to 1,421 square
feet. The two-story, detached homes feature two to three bedrooms and professionally
selected exterior color schemes with iron detailing, exterior shutters, decks
and front courtyards. Independence’s “100 Percent Home Package” comes
standard with every home and includes all large appliances, mini-blinds throughout,
fully landscaped yards and a 2-10-year Home Buyer’s Warranty.
The community features two picturesque parks with playgrounds, covered picnic
tables, pools with cabanas, and open grassy areas.
In addition, all homes feature “Energy Star,” an EPA-approved system
of ensuring that homes are at least 30 percent more efficient than the Model
Energy Code. By using the “Energy Star” program, homeowners save
valuable energy and also lower the costs of heating and cooling.
To visit the Independence sales office, take the 215 to Durango and go south,
then west on Warm Springs Road. The office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday
through Thursday and noon to 6 p.m. Fridays. The sales office can be reached
at 702.736.2125. More information on the community can be obtained from the
homebuilder’s website at www.AstoriaHomes.com.
