Released: January 2001 Astoria Homes Makes Donation For Weather StationAstoria Homes donated $1,500
to Rhodes Elementary School in order to complete
their Channel 8 weather station. The weather
station at the school reports all the weather
details from it's location, on the school rooftop,
to Kevin Janison at Channel 8. The students
learn how to read and understand the weather
from the computer that is connected to the
rooftop station. Thank you Rhodes Elementary
School for letting Astoria Homes be a part
of this wonderful learning tool!
