Astoria Homes Selected Third Fastest-Growing Builder in the Nation By Builder Magazine

Astoria Homes was the only locally owned Las Vegas homebuilder to be selected by Builder Magazine for inclusion in their First Annual Nation¹s Fastest Growing Builders list. Ranking third among 75 builders listed, Astoria was the top builder featured among four in the article. Tom McCormick, President of Astoria Homes, is the highest listed builder to be interviewed in the cover story of the September issue. Ranking in the list was based on % Gross Revenue Growth from 1996 - 1998.

Astoria Homes is also featured on page 132 of the September issue of Builder with a Bestsellers article on their Spring Meadows development. The Bestsellers article each month in Builder showcases a development enjoying exceptional success in part due to the builder¹s marketing of the product. This marks the fourth time in less than year (11/98-9/99) that Builder Magazine, The Magazine of the National Association of HomeBuilders, has featured Astoria Homes, Las Vegas¹ 12th largest homebuilder (ranked by total number of units sold in 1998).

In addition to these two national stories, Astoria Homes was mentioned in an August article in the Los Angeles Times focusing on the exodus of southern Californians to Las Vegas due to the housing market popularity. Astoria Homes was ranked ninth based on 1999 total home sales through May.

Locally, Astoria Homes was selected for inclusion in The Las Vegas 100 Private Companies in Southern Nevada. They will be honored along with other honorees on Oct. 8th at the annual luncheon event.
