Astoria Homes
Sells First Home in Their Newest
Community of Parkside Estates
Astoria Homes, best
known for their contemporary design,
fantastic pricing and superior
construction quality is pleased
to announce their first home has
been sold at their newest community,
Parkside Estates.
Chris and Ana Jaramillo,
both native Las Vegans, have just
purchased Residence 2 in Parkside
Estates. Over the last few months,
they have looked at nearly every
model home in the southwest section
of the valley. They saw an ad
in the newspaper for Astoria Homes
and this led them to Parkside
Estates. There, they met with
sales agent Pam Harris, looked
at the floorplans and walked through
the framed models. Then they went
to Autumn Ridge, another Astoria
Homes community, and looked at
similar models there.
"We were originally
under contract with another developer
and we backed out, " says
Chris. He adds, " We liked
all of the floorplans, the builder
quality, the upfront pricing and
the fact that we didn't have to
pay a lot premium for our size
lot."
The Jaramillos chose
the Residence 2 floorplan because
of the large square footage and
the layout. They like the unique
step-up and step-down into the
formal dining room and sunken
family room, the overlook at the
top of the stairs and the volume
ceilings. "I particularly
like the huge laundry room and
the spacious kitchen, where I
guess I'll be spending a lot of
my time," Ana laughs.
Chris and Ana like
the contemporary style of the
Parkside Estates homes and the
fact that they don't look like
cookie cutter houses. "We
like that every single amenity
in the house that we want is not
an option, that it's all included,"
says Chris.
The Jaramillos are
especially fond of the trail system
in the neighborhood, the gated
entrance and the tot lot, that
their eleven-week old daughter,
Sabrina, will get to enjoy in
the future. The location on the
Northwest side, right by the mountains,
was also a key factor in making
their decision.
When the Jaramillo
family gets to move into their
home in early September, they
plan on adding a pool and fencing
off the backyard area. For them,
September can't come soon enough!
