Astoria Homes Takes Part in "Make A Difference Day"

Astoria Homes is in the giving spirit and they're acting on it this week.

On Friday, October 23rd, at 10:30 am, Astoria Homes will be at Cartwright Elementary School, located at 1050 Gary St, off of Silverado Ranch Blvd.

To take part in "Make a Difference Day"; all of the kindergarten classes at Cartwright Elementary have been asked to donate at least one item of clothing to donate to Safenest. In turn for their contributions, the kindergarten classes have been promised a spooky Snapple/Astoria Halloween House filled with Halloween candy, goodies and surprises.

Astoria Homes President Tom McCormick says, "I wanted to connect with an area close to our Silverado communities for this nationwide event (which actually falls on Saturday, October 24th). I think by expressing to the children, 'Do good unto others and it will come back to you' is a great way of getting involved."
